What's the perfect type combination? What's the perfect moveset for said combo?
before Fairy happened, it was Dark/Ghost
>>29524375
No, it wasn't. Defensively, that's very solid typing, but offensively, Dark and Ghost is highly redundant STAB.
>>29524375
>Dark/Ghost
>no moves
LOL
>>29524336
Defensively, probably Poison/Dark. One weakness, one immunity, and 4 resistances is great. The only problem is that it only belongs to 5 Pokemon, and only 1 of them is just ok in terms of viability. Hopefully the newest 2 will make at least some impact.
Water/Fairy
If Primarina having Aurora Veil is true, that bitch is gonna be a nightmare
>>29524336
Dragon/Fairy
2 most powerfull = MOST powerfull
Fighting/Ghost has perfect coverage and hits no pokemon in the game for less than neutral damage.
>Normal/Ghost
>With Levitate
I m m u n e
>>29524336
Deffensively steel/fairy
Offensively ground/ice and fight/ice have the highest scores. But in combat, >>29524447
>>29524336
dark ghost
Before Fairy, it would have been Ground/Steel.
Now its Fairy/Steel.
Give Aegislash levitate.
There you go. Perfecto typing. 4 immunities, cant be poisoned, spinblocks, awesome coverage.
Normal/ghost defensively.
>>29524447
Serene Grace would be a crazy hidden ability for it too.
Scald, Moon Blast, etc with boosted secondary benefits. Wew.
>>29524643
REMOVE MERMAID
Nowadays? I could see Normal/Ghost easily working. One Swords Dance and you'd have a shitfest spam of shadow claw and return. Defensively, it would give the normal immunity against ghost, and ghost would give, in return, immunity against fighting.
You would have only one weakness in the dark type.
A shame that gamefreak lost ANOTHER opportunity to do good shit and wasted tipe:null.
>>29524643
>Scald
no
>>29524815
>>29524657
>>29524643
>Sparkling Aria works like Wake Up Slap and does double damage if the opponent is burned
>yfw Scald/Sparkling Aria rape with Serene Grace
Ubers.
>>29524336
Fire/Bug
Ability: Flash Fire
>>29524410
Defensively it's shit because it lacks noteworthy resistances
Before Gen 6 it would've been Steel/Anything that reduces or negates one or more of Steel's 3 weaknesses, but now I'd say Steel/Fairy is the best
>>29525282
>what are sneaky pebbles
>>29525371
Shit. I meant:
Fire/Steel
Ability: Flash Fire.
>>29524336
Ghost/Fighting gives perfect coverage with just STAB moves. Fairy/Dragon is okay defensively as well.
>>29525282
>>29525450
Shit. I actually meant this.
Steel/Bug
Ability: Flash Fire.
>>29524977
>the opponent switches out after it gets burned
>you just wasted a turn doing shit damage when you could've used scald again
nah it's a shit move. There's a very good reason people don't run those moves in competitive play.
>>29524539
You forgot about Ghost's weakness to Dark.
