Do you play Pokémon for the Pokémon or for the People

The pokémon by far. I don't even think there's one human character I care about in the whole franchise.

Used to play for both, but I realized it was hoping to see the plot develop more. I'm more excited to see if anything set up by XY and ORAS' plot and/or characters come back in Sun/Moon than I necessarily do the new Pokemon.

Which is asinine. I'm in the franchise for the wrong reason, put simply.

The Pokemon, 99% of the people can barely pass as characters at all, they're literally just gimmicks.
