I honestly really like rowlet3 being a ghost type since it shows once more that a ghost can be more than fucking furniture.

Jellicent was a pure water type that the added ghost-typing to late in development because gamefreak couldn't be bothered to design more ghost-types, just like how when they realized they needed more fish mons, they just made basculin and recolored it to make it do double duty
