GF didn't predict anything, the datamine wasn't unavoidable like some people seem to think

They scrubbed the demo clean for the most part but whichever idiot was in charge of removing the sprites forgot about the pokecenter team preview ones, that's it. If they had gotten rid of those too the datamine wouldn't have given us the entire pokedex.
