It's a bulshit thread, no battles talk, bulshit

I feel like I need to talk about this. And no, I'm not falseflagging or shitposting, I really mean this.

XYZ ending really crushed me somehow. I'm more than glad Serena actually went for the kiss, it was a nice moment, but I still feel unsatisfied because Ash didn't get to win the league and because he didn't fall in love with Serena, becoming a couple and all.

I feel like I invested so much time into this and with what we know of SM (and them potentially keeping that "style" in future generations too) it seems like this may have very well been the last time the anime was allowed to be this "mature". The last chance for Ash to actually actively kiss a girl, win the league like a badass and retire on a great note.

It feels like this is it. From now on out there'll be absolutely nothing like this and even if, Serena was pretty much perfect for him, so if he didn't love her and doesn't end up with her (she won't play a role except for some little cameo, let's be real) then it'll never happen with anyone.

I should be happy because they at least DID do that kiss, but at the same time I'm just not. I feel like this empty husk that wasted years of his life on getting emotionally invested for practically no return.

I really liked how Serena and Ash's eyes glimmered after they kissed. Really well done by the animators or writers.

Team Flare wrecks Lumiose City with a mindcontrolled Zygarde. Ash gets captured by Lysandre but with the help of Alan defeats him while Clemont battles Xerosic in the Lumiose Gym. Squishy battles the mindcontrolled Zygarde but gets mindcontrolled itself until Bonnie comes through to it. They manage to break the other Zygarde free of its mindcontrol but then the Megalith transforms into a stone Zygarde and starts heading for the Sundial. If it reaches it the world will end. All the main characters and all the Gym leaders and Diantha and Steven go up against it in an attempt to stop it together with the two Zygarde Cores that transform into Zygarde 100% and they beat it.

What follows is several episodes of what is basically the end, they have a party, Ash and Serena go on a "last date" and have a battle, Serena decides to go to Hoenn, they release Goodra and Greninja and all say their farewells.

Though Amour won, I have this feeling of the whole SM Anime being a sleepercell of something since they we're going all out in the games

I'm sad that it has come to this point but I think I'm starting to hate Serena. I used to like Serena: in fact, she was once my favorite girl. There was a point in my life that I was a shipper. I thought the interactions between Ash and Serena were cute. But her fanbase was a disaster. But the way her fanbase treats her and others, particularly their extreme reactions to even the tiniest hint of love, have soured my opinion of her. Granted, I still like Serena as a character, but she probably has the worst fanbase in all of Pokemon, even worse than Misty's.
