So fucking great for a Pokémon anime. Only DP can compete. If I were to judge which of the two is better, I can not. I would however say that XY/XY&Z is "awesome good" and DP is "acquired taste good", so it's all a matter of perspective and opinion.

I'm just so happy I got to experience this series as it unfolded. It was one hell of a ride with ups and downs and actually a satisfactory conclusion. XY/XY&Z was their big trump card before the reformatting, and they went all out, as much as they were allowed to within their boundaries.

SM might as well be void for now, it feels like it's going to be a completely different thing.
