Most of the post on /vp/ are just people being pessimistic about

I am very optimistic about the games, but I don't play serious. I am disappointed about the small number of Pokemon released, but I am hoping the game itself makes up for it.

People just like to complain even though it won't fix anything, especially not on /vp/ :,)

I guess I can see why there's been a complete and sudden turnaround on thoughts for the game, but this is still pretty severe even for Pokemon standards

I actually liked the demo overall. I expected something something more challenging, but I can do that with self imposed challenges.

I'm not THAT hyped as when they revealed the Ultra Beasts though.

What bugged me the most in the demo is that they didn't make use of the second stick in the New 3DS to pan the camera. Viewport can get annoying very easily.

Dex Nav, Mirage Spots and Soaring weren't fun or interesting to me so i wasn't going to miss them to begin with

My optimism vanished with the leaked starters being real in combination with only Kanto Pokemon getting Alolan forms and not even being done well at that.

They did their marketing well and hid almost everything that was bad, I was genuinely hyped until the past month or so. I'm still holding out for a great story.
