Sometimes I like to set up swords dance before mega evolving as to avoid ice/electric/4xrock attacks. I run a weird ev spread, 252 speed, 80 hp, rest in attack
Roost, Acrobatics, Curse, Taunt/Toxic
Run it with white herb. Turn one boost, +1 attack +1 defense white herb negates the speed drop and you get full power acrobatics. I'm thinking of putting a different attack in the place of taunt but he also works to fuck smeargle leads but acrobatics gets walled by anything steel or rock so I'm not sure

It's pretty fun if it works out. Just curse your attack and defense to max, rest off any damage, and the rain wakes you up again.
Waterfall is nice because you take advantage of the rain damage boost, but Avalanche saves you in case the opponent has anything with water absorb.

Well, it's still fairly bulky, but I think the idea is that it serves as a 'win condition' - you take care of the stuff that can beat it with the rest of your team, then once they're left with special attackers that can't break through it you set up in their face.

Trick Room is more of a cleanup role, you bring it in to fuck up weakened opponents since you won't be OHKOing stuff and won't have time/ moveslots to set up Calm Minds with that. But you'll need to build the rest of your team with it in mind, because you don't want to end up in a situation where your own TR screws you over.

Usually only use him in game so I don't tend to care about EVs or IVs (I'll try to get an adamant nature but outside of that any nature that doesn't cut attack or speed is fine) with whatever ability he comes with (usually flash fire for some reason, not had an intimidate Arcanine since FireRed.) I don't do competitive battling either (I like to play the games just to fuck about with different teams of random pokemon) but I do usually breed moves onto him whenever I do later playthroughs.

I've used a Flygon in every game he's available in. I love the guy. Running AV he can live ice beams and retaliate with fire punch. Now I know what you're thinking, "Why is he running physical? I've seen some pretty good sets based around Infestation and Toxic, while recovering with leftovers. And if you can baton pass a leech seed to it, you become indestructible.
