So how long do you think Gen 6.5 will last, /vp/?

Game Freak haven't done a .5 gen before, so it's hard to tell. Personally, I think they will skip a 2017 game and instead make DLC for SuMo, where you can go back to Kalos after the main game.

They'll then make Generation 7 in 2018 for the Switch.

Nah, Kalos felt new compared to Unova. 3D and the like.

To me, it's like Kalos and Alola feel like two halves of the same whole at this point.
