Honestly if it weren't for already knowing about Crabrawler, I definitely wouldn't have been able to identify his evo as a crab, especially since neither the claws nor the coloration are really that distinctive without foreknowledge of the design scheme.
Similarly, I feel that the dismissal of the Tapu guardian as the dolphin stems from the fact that we know with certainty that they're a Pokemon group and thus would expect the leak to point it out, while the leaker might not have been privy to that knowedge at the time.
