I was one of the minority who was okay with the smaller dex of XY, so I'm still hype.

I'm okay with a smaller Pokedex too. I'd rather they refresh some old Pokemon who really need it instead of creating some new Pokemon who is basically an older one with some new gimmick that older Pokemon really could have used.

I know what you mean. I'm torn desu. On one hand, it feels like they might pull a Gen V with a decent plot and because everybody is a little bit taller. But on the other hand, the dex is really tiny already and the overworld still feels like X and Y a little. I also hope they don't remove a bunch of useful features and just focus on gimmicky shit.

Basically, I wasn't too hyped in the initial months of being it announced, then all the trailers made my hype skyrocket, then demo kinda lowered it again. :'^)

The fact that Ultra Beasts are catchable has increased my hype now. Skeeter is excellent.

Although I heard someone say that they only have a generic attacking move, is that true? I haven't been paying attention to most of the datamining.

Still up there definitely. And it kinda increased once I found out UB's were catchable and pic related exist. I've been wanting to see the rest of the Tapu's and they definetly didn't disappoint me. Kinda still wanted that Grass/Fire mon, but eh, might just be a Mythical we will find in the final game once it comes out.
