Yeah but that's not how this video was made. They didn't go around and catch Yungoos a bunch of times after adding the balls to inventory. What they did was force the models to switch by manipulating game data (that's how we learned about the UB ball, as said in Kaphotic's datamine video). There is still no indication that we will actually be able to use these balls.

Game Freak may be aware that people went way out of their way to get Apricorn balls for Gen VI Pokemon. They're clearly hip to the fact that people like different Pokeballs seeing as NPCs now use more than just regular Pokeballs.

Nope, only the Dream and Cherish Balls can be used. Apricorn Balls are coded as normal items and don't even appear on the Poké Ball menu in battle, they can't be used at all.

The fact that the UB ball is simply called "n/a" in the data worries me a bit.
Either that means it won't be implemented as an item you use, meaning that UBs might not be catchable (yet). Or it could mean that UBs are forked over to you for free in the post game.

I'm hoping there's at least a nifty sidequest you need to go through to obtain UBs.
