Them being capable of being caught was somewhat dampening, but I like them.

Then fuck, I can't do much in that regard. Shit was way back on the day UB-01 was revealed. I proposed that Ultra Beasts were Pokemon and catchable, and that Aether made Type:Null in order for them to be able to utilize Solgaleo/Lunala to create some method of capturing UBs. Which seems to be the case, based on the design of the new ball.

Them being catchable just kinda makes them less cool

i imagined them as this "big powerful mysterious force" that i couldent just make my bitch by throwing a ball at it
