I figured out who's responsible for all the problems in the Pokemon anime! It's not Max, it's not any of Ash's companions, it's not even Ash himself!

Ever since Kanto, there have been occasions where the world of the Pokemon anime is a͖̗l̷̹͎t͓̤̬͉e̫͖r҉̮͔̙͔͓̰͓e͇̥̝͚d̼͎̳̀ in some way. Personalities getting changed, characters popping in and out of existence, history being ̵͇̱͙̠͉̗̪ṟ̛̪̤̖e̲͍͔̲w҉̖̭r͚̯̺͖͕̗it͖̺̻̭t̨͔̰̭͎͕͎e̬͈n̛͔͚̖̜ͅ, et cetera. I believe that this is the work of a being that has been there all along, but has never made its presence known, at least not yet. Its very presence has been known to cause ̸͇̲d̡̤i̻̥͇s̙̙̘͟t̴o̭͈̬̪̞̳ṛ̰̠͓t̶̮͔̹i̝͎̞̳͞o̖̦n͍̹̙͈̤ in the fabric of reality. It has n̬̙͇̭͈͜o̪̖̠ ̴͔̲̲̤̜̠f̴̬a̹̲͟c̛e̛ of its own, ͓͍n̻o̲ͅ ̘͈̠̯͎̜̪n̡̹a̰̥͙̻͈͝m̹̭̭̜͚̜͍e͖͚͙͈̞ of its own, and instead has to borrow those of others. I can't prove it, but I suspect that it has been ̰m̶̗̮̘an̜͖̺̩͇̻̪i͔̟̱̼̳̮p͈u̴͔̯̜̬ͅl͇̙̱ͅa̟͙̖͇̙̜t̠̙̟̘͈̮̲i͖̩ͅn̡g̴͙̯̘ͅ the world of the anime to its every whim all this time.

That's why Ash never ages, that's why he never wins a league, that's why the same series of events keep repeating themselves.
