Except Charizard, Lapras and Goodra. And he GAVE away Primeape. The english dub made a translation error. So only Butterfree and Pidgeot never was seen again. (Butterfree had an episode for it in BW though with Ash meeting a Caterpie and he gets flashbacks about Butterfree and makes said Caterpie evolve)

So really, only 1 out 5 never were seen again.
