Gen 3: Gets fucked over by having an awkward mix of bulky with no HP and high special attack with low speed. Base 425. Gets outclassed by two readily accessible Psychic types of its own region.

Since I love almost every Pokemon (keyword almost). Im gonna post multible, and start with top ghost.

In single player its good, but in a comp perspective it gets out shined by the pre-evo.
The offensive boost is kinda wasted without Iron Fist, and even if it did have it, it would still be lackluster do to the somewhat small attack, should've been 110 in my opinion.

Seriously game freak, when you get back to making megas, which is honestly likely considering the concept working rather well, do this motherfucker some justice. Hell the design is already fantastic.

Let's give a shout-out to both Fairies and GameFreak's incompetence ruining several mons that could have been something. Most important goes to this guy, a Pokemon that never even had a chance to shine or bloom in the metagame because some filthy slant-eye decided Dark should be weak to Fairy.

Honorary mentions include:

Zoroark because of Team Viewer, completely ruining any strategy to have with it outside of a Nasty Plot sweeper

Zangoose and Seviper for not getting Extreme Speed and/or 50 extra points to be worth a slot on the team

maybe just personal opinion,
>has great attack stat, but very little bulk
>doesn't even have enough speed to really make up for it outside of trick room.
>the mega form gives a nice boost to attack, but a very small boost to where it's needed; its speed, with 20 points wasted on special attack
>while it gets prankster, a great ability, he can't make much use of it outside of will o wisp or destiny bond
>has very few options for attack moves that aren't dark or ghost, with the only notable exception being gunk shot.
>can't learn brick break which could let it deal damage to normal or dark types, whereas dusclops who only has hands can learn it.
