>Immune to Fighting, Normal and Ghost
>Resistant to Bug and Poison
>Weak to Dark
Is there a better type combination than this?
>>29315490
Water/ground with sap sipper
Bug/Steel is still one of the strongest type combos around, as its only significant weakness is Fire which can be easily avoided, meanwhile every other weakness is cancelled out. Tons of resistances too.
>>29315490
Pure Electric. It only has the easiest weakness to get around to worry about, while boasting 3 resistances and immunity to paralysis.
>yfw Marshadow is the Pearl Harbor counterpart to Victini
>Normal/Ghost because it's normal person that became a ghost
>Justified because it wants justice for the attack
>physical attacker with 600 BST
>physical Ghost-type version of V-Create
>>29315490
Don't forget it has perfect neutral STAB on everything but itself, Tyranitar, Bisharp, and fucking Pawniard.
>>29315664
Damn so all it needs is a fighting move
>>29315726
*for everything but itself
bug/steel.
>>29315726
>>29315749
So ground would be better
Dragon/steel is pretty aight.
poison/dark is cool too.
But I really do want a normal/ghost.
Bug/steel is pretty good but fire type moves are not super rare.
>>29315783
I don't think countering yourself is really an advantage in battle...since your opponent would counter you just as easily
Ghost/Normal with Close Combat or Drain Punch wins
Bug/Steel
Slap Flash Fire on it for good measure.
>>29315490
I've literally wanted a Normal/Ghost. Ever since they started adding Normal as a subtype to non-fliers in gen 4. I also think its the perfect candidate for a Shedinja clone.
Make it either a Skeleton or a Zombie.
Normal/ghost stab combination is only resisted by bisharp (and itself), think about that
>>29315490
Give it Levitate or one of the abilities that absorbs a type and boosts a stat.
It's a good typing, but GF will never give a pokemon with that typing good stats
This has been my main dream Pokemon. He'd be a little pillow case or something and evolve into the stereotypical sheet ghost.
>>29316053
T-Tar as well.
>>29315629
Justified is shit for Ghost-Types because it doesn't "absorb" the attack like Storm Drain or Flash Fire.
>>29316015
Or Schrödinger's cat
>>29316240
Yeah forgot about that lol
Either way a fighting type move gives it perfect coverage
>>29315563
So why is Durant not OU?
>>29316298
its powerful, but lacks the bulk it needs specially and has incredibly shaky accuracy
>>29316298
Hustle.
Only issue I can think of is that it needs to run a dark type move so it doesn't get walled by another of itself, and running both dark and ghost moves isn't really great
>>29316322
>>29316348
>What is hone claws
But yeah, he isn't terribly sturdy. But cool as hell
>>29315490
>Give it Justified
>>29318163
are you retarded?
>>29315490
Steel/Poison with Levitate. Would have been even better before Steel's nerf.
>>29318364
>Sea mine evo for quilfish when
>>29316698
He's unstoppable in randome battle smogon where you can't garuntee a fire type move
>>29316250
Yes, but it's it's only weakness, so it forces the opponent to stick to neutral attacks or buff its Attack.
>>29316015
I'd settle for a cryptid like Sasquatch or Big Foot for Normal/Ghost
poison/dark with levitate, no weakness
>>29316298
hustle is great and all but miss and its over because durant struggles to take even resisted hits.
>>29316298
Although his Defense is decent, he has poor HP and Sp.Def, meaning that he won't take Effective hits very well.
He also has Hustle and Truant as his abilities. And although the buff Hustle gives is nice, it makes its accuracy shaky, meaning it will have to rely on Hone Claws to do something reliable. Swarm is ok, but it only kicks in at low HP and only affects Bug moves.
>>29316250
What if
What if you gave itA Weakness Policy
>>29315529
Bruh
>>29315490
Steel/Fairy is proven to be the best typing overall. This includes the types of moves they generally get. How else do you think Mawile became relevant again? It would need both a type change and a stat boost....which it was given.
So what are overall the best typing combinations?
Defensively we have Grass/Steel, Bug/Steel, Steel/Fairy, Ghost/Normal, Water/Ground, and what else?
I'm not so sure about offensive typings though.
>>29319204
fighting ghost?
>>29319204
http://pokemondb.net/tools/type-coverage
Ice/Ground is only resisted by Shedinja, Surskit, Wimpod, possibly Wimpod's evo, and possibly the new spider line.
>>29319204
steel/draygon
Poison/steal would be great too if it weren't for everything learning earthquake,
Of course levitate would fix that.
>>29318578
How's it feel knowing we won't be getting cross-gen evos anymore
>>29319359
Mamoswine for life.
>>29318793
Gravity.
>>29319359
I have to come up with a Fakemon around this typing.
