What is your preferred battle format? I always assumed 6v6 singles

For VGC it's because the tournaments would take way too long if you used a full team of 6, so tournament organizers would have to pay more for the space they use since it's paid by hour. As for singles, it's probably to be consistent with VGC/doubles.

Now for the actual question, I like 4v4 doubles because the battles are fast paced and doubles allow for many more strategies and sets.

I only ever really played 6v6 and 3v3, never bothered with other formats. I didn't like 3v3 as much, it felt like it was so hard to prepare for threats and you just had to hope something didn't dismantle your choice of three mons.

im down with 6v6singles or 4v4 doubles. doubles is more fun to me though.
