I have an original blue 3DS
I have 1000 free space
And it works perfectly for me
GameFreak is lazy so they made all the Pokemon models ridiculously high poly so they can just reuse them from now on.The 3DS can't handle that shit tho.

Same reason they don't have 3D or a controlable camera, but every other Mon catching game does.
They wasted too much on making the models higher poly than the system can reasonably handle.
They're trying to future proof the models, but in doing so, they kinda gimped it for the system it's on now.

I've tried the game on both my (modded) classic 3DS and N3DS. Both can run the game fine, flawlessly on the N3DS.
