Excellent job there, OP. It reminds me of an experience I had at my job recently. I work serving product samples (mostly food) at a wholesale store, so naturally children will come with their parents and stuff. The other day I was having a really good day, but what capitalized it is that a young boy, maybe 11 or 12 showed up, and I noticed he was playing Pokemon Go. Now inb4 "normie", I asked if he'd played any of the 3DS games, and he told me he actually had a few of them. Sure enough, I asked if he was excited for Sun and Moon, and he told me he was getting Moon version, and overall we had a nice conversation. That's just the beauty of Pokemon for me nowadays, being an older "veteran" of sorts to younger incoming trainers.
