When you leave the demo and come back the game still thinks you're doing the contest. You can't stack them. Also looks like there's two places of exit/entry here.

Anything interesting out in the ocean maybe? What about those buildings at the bottom of the map that you can't enter but npcs can?

Try doing it in and out of the catch challenge, perhaps a funny crash might ensue if you leave the area.

Probably not. I'll check though. I'm taking screenshots as we speak and post them in a bit. This is to the right where you fight the totem mon. There's an upward path you can take to a bunch of grass that spawns nothing really.

Delete the data and start again. This time glitch out with the pokeballs or catch some pokemon and use them to fight the trainers. Or try to keep the pikachu

You can walk out of the cave normally and keep the Pikachu after Kukui gives it to you. It's just that after you defeat Plumeria you lose it. I think the anon wants you to somehow keep the Pikachu after the trial.

You literally rip holes in the seams that connect how areas load into one another in Diamond/Pearl by spazzing out your movements in specific areas. Mystery zone is a big void where you can easily brick your save file, but has some great payoff such as getting to Darkrai/Shaymin islands without the event items.

As I did the trial that seems to be just fine at the moment did a hiccup where it would keep telling you you're forgetting a mon. I had to force myself out to keep going. Still don't have Pikachu.

You can save your data just fine. If you're playing with cheats and you catch stuff, the next time you load the demo they'll dissapear. The balls will stay with you though. Looks like there isn't a workaround for not losing the mons you catch so I'm gonna stop here and upload those screenshots. Most of these were what I said earlier in the thread and there are a bunch of extra shots I took. You guys will probably like how one of them came out
