Gen 1 20 years and wanting to boost some old mons popualirty and merch sales.

Most of these was made to improve the old ones and give more rare types not found in gen 1.

Plus lasped normies don't know much of gen 3 to 6.

There is NO and I mean NO evidence that Megas are not GONE. Just because a trailer said the FORMS were back doesn't mean they're Mega-Evolutions.
