Anyways, I would be disappointed too if they gave him a defensive stat spread, specially considering his design begs for an offensive spreadI would love a physical sweeper with brave bird and wood hammer, with reckless as his HA.

We have what, 2 grass starters that are competitively viable? All i can think of is Venusuar and Serperior.
It's probably not going to be good but if it's fast a good ability could save it, like contrary for Serperior.

Everything we have seen suggests Rowlett having high health though. He could be like Serperior, high speed but otherwise defensive stats. If that's the case he's gonna need a good ability to save him.

I'm a bit concerned myself, but also hopeful, OP.
Greninja got two signature moves, remember that: Mat Block and Water Shuriken. Even if Lazer Focus is Owl3's signature move, it could still have other great moves and abilities. If Throat Chop is a Tiger3 move, keep in mind that Tiger 3 is already getting a spit attack, a table smash, and a spinning throw. Mermaid3 is getting a new bubble move. They won't fuck over Owl3.
They gave Owl3 the black shiny. It's poised to be the new Greninja. Don't panic until there is just cause.
