For fucks sake the same god damn hackers posted that there were 49 alolan formes. Jesus fucking christ. Some of them are sensible, though others are out there, and others are sensible but still stupid.

But all this Fatalism with it jeezus everyone chill. Sides here's a REAL interesting point. Six of these mons or three of the how ever many lines are ALL pokemon that were exclusive to Blue. Doesn't that seem a bit too coincidental?

And yes I get Muk and Dugtrio might be Sun exclusives but still doesn't make sense. My thought is some are shared, like the one-onlies and Golem line, and others like the BlueMoon Alolan Formes and Grimer/Muk (for whatever reason) are version exclusives.

I get what you're saying, but I still think comparing Alolan forms and megas is silly.
Alolan forms are a permanent change. Effectively a new pokemon entirely that you can raise from 1 to 100. New stat distributions, moves and types.
Megas are a temporary in-battle change that does nothing to change the pokemon outside of battle. It also requires an item, and you can only have one at a time.

Megas were a mistake.
