To be honest I'm sort of glad. Alolan forms have been very disappointing in my opinion and will probably be ditched for the next gimmick in Gen 8.

Just wish they'd do the simple thing and just buff the old without the need for megas and alternate forms; just stat increases, new abilities and more moves available you know? It's the simplest solution.
