Literally not a single Bug Pokemon from Gen V is in the Alola Dex.

Butterfree is, but Beedrill isn't for some reason.

Don't get me wrong, the bugs we have gotten this gen are all great (fingers crossed that that spider is also Bug-type), but it really put a damper on my enthusiasm.

Just because they imported them or used their likeness, doesn't the pokemon should live natively in Alola.

Pikachu's image was used several times in B/W, but it wasn't in the Unova dex.

Can someone explain? Does this mean you only get to catch in game the 300 or so Pokemon in the Pokedex?

The dex is pretty great,yeah there are some ¿wtf? absences,but not every tropical-like pokemon has to be in the Alola dex.
