Honestly, I liked Zinnia. Sure she was a Mary Sue, but she had some interesting character, interesting lines and the whole timeline thing (which is honestly something I liked out of XY and ORAS.

Zinnia was my absolutely favourite Gen 6 character out of the entire bunch. And seeing how Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza ended up being so connected to Kalos, the Ultimate Weapon and Mega Evolution, I can't even begin to imagine what the outcome of bringing Zinnia back will be. Will we finally get our Primal Rayquaza and Jade Orb?
