It does feel bad to have all my old teams that helped me save the world and become Champion just get shoved in a box.

But as for every other mon I couldn't care less

No, because I choose to believe they are in a "garden" or whatever when they are in a box, with the other pokemon in the box being there as well. I'm not going to worry to much about the ethics in a animal fighting game anyways.

This. I'd like to believe I'm sending them to a personal garden. Sort of like how a Pokeball is supposed to give them a comfy environment or something? They get to chill with the other mons. I have in there.
