I use my favorite on showdown yet I don't always lose. If your favorites are shitmons, maybe try playing in a more accommodating format? I play BSS because I know my team would get shat on in OU or Uber

I run Diancie as a rock type normally, but that's not allowed on cart. Scizor loses, Breloom loses, Pangoro loses, few other things I haven't listed as well. Only thing that doesn't is Empoleon.
