Trop Kick pretty much guarantees Tsareena will at least be decent.

Here's how I see it. Lurantis will be like Leafeon, but with less bulk. Tsareena will get grass moves, High Jump Kick and that's it.

Don't forget, we also get the best starter this gen.

Lurantis oddly enough has a higher chance of being better by learning cutting moves like Psycho Cut or Night Slash or X Scissor, maybe even Jump Kick considering those legs. Tsareena being physical pretty much sealed her fate, they will give it HJK and that's it aside from Return. The only redeeming factor is its ability.

Maybe they will have new moves to give to them, we don't for sure. The 18th really can't come faster.

Tsareena already has a unique Move, which might end up being really good. We can't just assume that a physical Grass type is gonna have a shit move pool because new gen = new moves. And they seem to be adding a lot of Grass types, so it stands to reason that they'll be getting some TLC in that regard.

It's giving the Oddish line a run for its place as my favorite Grass type line. Hopefully we can get Bounsweet relatively early in the game.

Bounsweet seems like the sort of thing you'd find in a forest early on, so I'd say it's pretty likely. Lurantis is the one I'd worry about. It looks like it could end up being on of those mid-game mons with a five percent chance of showing up in one location.

I'm sure Fomantis will appear in Lush Jungle, the place for Mallow's trial/where you battle the Lurantis totem. Considering that's in Akala then it will probably be an early-mid game catch.

I do think it was a missed opportunity to not give them a second typing, but I'm still glad they just exist. Two of my favorite lines in S&M so far.

Grass types got it good this gen as far as designs go. How they perform competitively though? Eh, I'm not seeing anything that makes them stand out as anything special, but I'm a Karenfag anyway so I'll use them even if they are shit.
