As for a pokemon that everyone likes which I hate, probably the majority of Gen 7 pokemon. There are a lot of shitty new pokemon, which people defend solely based on the fact that they're new. The worst of the bunch, though, have to be the sandcastle, Bewear, Jangmo-o's final evo, and Drampa.


Rhyperior is great, and frankly, I don't get all the hate it gets. It's way better than Rhyhorn, which is just a generic lizard monster.

I really REALLY hate Charizard, literally the most shilled POKEMON alongside Mewtwo. Tired of this dragon getting so much fucking attention.

I hate legendaries and mythicals in general. The only one I care for is Raikou, and maybe Regigigas.

I love Hitmontop but I'm finding it increasingly hard to use it competitively seeing as I don't play doubles. Smogonbirb is on 90% of even the free Battle Spot teams.

I like Goodra, it's my favorite gen 6 mon and it was among my favs way before I realized people considered it a "waifumon".
I also recently started liking Chesnaught.

I've always loved Cryogonal.
And always disliked Empoleon, but someone just posted it as one they liked so maybe it's not as popular as I thought.
Chandelure is one Pokemon that seems like I would love it (love ghosts, creepiness, fancy decorations) but it just doesn't work for me at all. I kind of hate that it was chosen for Pokken over Cofagrifus or Sableye. Or Bronzong, Claydol or Starmie if they wanted an oddly-shaped mon. Litwick & Lampent are adorable though.

My absolute favorite shitmon which I don't think a single person on this board likes is Minun. I really liked it as a kid because it felt like my own personal Pikachu and my favorite color was blue when I was a kid. It just stuck with me because fond childhood memories.

I think Turtonator looks really silly and I don't see the appeal at all. The neck looks ridiculously unrealistic, his art makes him look like he has octopus hands, his tail looks goofy and awkwardly placed like it was just shoved underneath him in a last minute design choice, and his weird mustache thing on top of his baggy looking eyes makes him look like some sort of french fedora neckbeard who hasn't stepped out from his moms PC in over one thousand years. Even its name sounds like something you'd see as a username for some hardcore 2elite4u euphoric goofball. It's the only Pokemon from Gen 7 that I don't like so far and sometimes I wonder if everyone liking him as a meme or they're liking him because his design isn't appealing and feeds their inner hipster.
