Isn't Pokemon moving too fast? It's been 2 1/2 years since gen 6, before they would take 4-5 years to make new ones or at least thats how long my childhood felt compared to dis
Don't worry, a lot of people feel their adolescence goes by fast while remembering a long and happy childhood. It's normal.

It was 3 years ago XY released yesterday you moron
I don't think there's ever been 5 years in between games
>>29073474
It's 3 years as of this week, and no, it's not moving any faster. It's in your head.

Your childhood is still ongoing
i think back in the day it was translation time that slowed down english release thats why it seems faster now they release at around the same time now
You're getting older. Time goes by faster as you age. You'll be 60 before you know it, and then you'll be on your deathbed even sooner. You'll long for the days where an hour felt like an eternity.

Time compression is just a thing that happens as you age. One year is an ever-shrinking portion of your life so far, and there aren't as many large events per year, especially since you shrug off change better as an adult.
pokemon games aren't really coming out a significant amount faster, you're just getting older. Not old, just older.

>that kid that think gold-silver was still gen1

There have *always* been about 3 to 3 and a half years in between Generations, the only exceptions being 4/5 where there was 4.

There's usually a three year gap between Generations, except for between Gen III and IV, and IV and V.
They're right on time with Sun/Moon.
Like that other anon said, normally we'd have to wait several months after the Japanese release before we got it in English, but ever since XY, international release of new games have been nearly simultaneous.

It's more that we get remakes in between, that feel like new games when compared to the expanded third titles we used to get.

>Isn't Pokemon moving too fast?
3 years for a new generation?
No, that's a good pace.
>>29074476
Considering what they did within that time recently (wi fi features crippled gens 4 and 5, gen 6 have no 3rd version/sequels) it sure feels faster

Gen 1: 1996/1998
Gen 2: 1999/2000
Gen 3: 2002/2003

Nah it's always been just about three years per generation, except for 3 and 4.
