Posting to stave off the need to sleep! Dark type Gym, Fairy coming next! Cute team, OP, I appreciate the consistent colour scheme of mostly-white Pokemon, which helps them feel a little more like a proper group than most. The only issue is that Steel types'll leave a serious mark on your team, so maybe consider something to counter that?

I do actually have a Flying type gym in the works but I'll have to finish that in the morning, which I'll post if the thread is still up.

I also decided to switch the signature and partner Pokemon in this Fairy type gym, I've just not yet gotten around to swapping them.

if houndoom is your signature why are you using a normal/flying fletchling in your first battle instead of chimchar and houndoom

I like to keep any 3 stage evolution Pokemon on the first two slots. Plus it loses the normal typing soon enough

Fooler around with it a little bit. The theme's most obvious if challenged as the fifth badge.

Up until the third badge, you'd be forgiven for thinking it's just a classic monotype gym. (Though even the third badge is easy - if you came in with a Grass starter you're not bothered, and even the fourth badge is basically Fire-weak.)

The final team actually all qualify as some of my favourite Pokemon.

My gym wouldn't be particularly type specific. If I were an early gym leader, I'd have Gastly, Boltoy and Pineco. A later gym, Haunter, Claydol, Forrettress, Cryogonal.
If I were Elite Four: Claydol, Forrettress, Cryogonal, Bronzong, Starmie and eviolite Haunter.
Haunter's my buddy but Claydol's the strongest in the party. I give the Silent Badge, and the gym is at the bottom of a dried-up well.

Rematch team: Claydol, Starmie, Forrettress, Cofagrigus, Spiritomb, eviolite Magneton.

Don't really know the difference between partner and signature... but if it's what I think it is than this should be accurate. Still working on this in more detail though.

The Mimikyu is supposed to be a joke about it sneaking in to replace the Pikachu, but it earns a permanent spot--with the Pikachu coming back later as the Raichu.

Bugs are always nice, even if seen as weak. All of them possessing U-Turn would make it a particularly lengthy battle.
