Do you think Alola will have a Castelia/Lumiose like mega city? Judging from the map the Honolulu equivalent on Melemele doesn't look very big.

It wont, Alola overall seems like a very small place. the only thing that is outstanding is the Aether foundation

No, and I'm glad. They were executed poorly.
That's one thing that kind of bothers me, it feels like alola will be very empty and nothing but wilderness and intermittent small towns.
I mean that's not necessarily a bad thing, but I like the varied landscapes that the games usually have, including wilderness and "big cities" and everything in between.
Castelia was great for its time but aged poorly. Lumiose is the worst city in the franchise

There's a bunch of towns that have more personality than the generic town in any Pokémon game
Usually there's only around 3 that stand out
In Alola all of them are noticeable

Fuck off fag

You're just excited about new games. The only ones i could describe as noticable are the walled off city, the city with Japanese looking tower and the chinese one. Everything else is generic

I'm not bothered by it, because my fav region is Johto which is also pretty small. I love the idea of another "cramped" region where it feels very coherent and you explore everywhere
>>29040029
No, I dont see what you're talking about at all. These towns dont seem more noticeable than usual. We've had ninja towns and tree towns and beach towns and all sorts of stuff already. Alola is standard fare, as in having good and bad as usual.

My guess is that the Mega "City" will be the Aether foundation in the middle of Alola.

All of Unova's stood out.

The whole point of the big city was to showcase the dynamic camera. Every location in Alola is like that so it doesn't have reason to exist. The post-game hub might end up being the Aether Foundation island.
