currently playing blue version and I have
Wartortle, Paras, Rattata, Mew, Spearow, Abra...

I plan on having Tentacruel, Exeggutor, Raticate, Mew, Tauros, and then an hm dude or something.

I'm only replaying blue on VC to get the legendary birds in the easiest legit way possible because I managed every other fucking pokemon except those in my bank (because I don't have HG/SS and I don't wanna replay a game 3 times)

It's not meant to be a strict monoteam, but I like keeping at least a loose theme in my teams when I run through a game. I considered Morelull but I'm going to wait until we see what it evolves into first, and it's bound to change as more Pokemon are revealed, or if we find out the likes of Whimsicott and Tangrowth can't be caught in Alola, but fingers crossed.

Ideally I'd use exclusively Alolan Pokemon but that might be difficult with a monotype considering XY had a smaller roster of newcomers and Alola might end up the same way, but I can remain hopeful.
