You aren't getting anything out of preordering besides the physical copy of the game. There are no statues. There are no peripherals. There aren't even giveaway codes.

It's fine to preorder. But for these games there is literally no point. GameFreak/Nintendo stopped caring about PreOrder bonuses unless they are Amiibos or 200 Potions.

Yeah, do you just not pay attention to game prices? Pokemon games always keep their value. 5 years from now, some other game that invalidates S/M will come out and I'll download the .cia while I sell my copy of Sun for 40 bucks, profitting 40 dollars and likely using that on the new game. You'll be cucked out of 40 dollars on a game you either never touch anymore, can't have multiple save files on, or lose entirely if you don't have your 3DS anymore.
