People aren't super about the typing, they're upset about the design. it LOOKS like a fighting Pokemon. People wanted a panther/tiger and instead they got a luchadore. We're tired of bipedal, humanoid fire starters.

Litten3 looks like it could be a dark type. The expression, the "edgy" design, and the fact the concept art literally has a small doodle of it hitting Pikachu with a table. It makes sense to be honest.
