I can't believe he cannot learn Calm Mind to balance Gyarados Dragon Dance, they habe given him Competitive to mirror Gyarados Intimidate only later.Cute Charm x Intimidate is pretty much a Mars & Venus reference. Haze is there to let you clear out status, and Milo's natural bulk lets you invest EVs into other things without sacrificing much survivability (The HP EVs aren't really necessary if you need to break a certain speed, but it can help). Essentially what you want to do is switch Milo into something that can't deal with it, or a stat dropper, then start abusing that SpAtk and bulk to clear out threats.
