There is a place full of rich people that's mostly instinct, I've been scanning it, I think I'm going there just to train gyms and secure a spot.
The drawback is having to take a bus to play pogo but getting at least 5 gyms per day without even moving seems to be a great inversion of time.

the level 30 soft cap basically means that while cp gains are constant each level from pokemon level 1-30, from 30-40 they're half the amount

so a mewtwo gains 50cp (?) per power up from 1-30, but only 25cp per power up from 30-40

and you can pass 3k with yours, I was just saying that even though 86.7% lets your dragonite sit over the 100's for those levels, it wont do so at level 29 (due to the soft cap) so you need level 30 to surpass it
since yours is higher IV, that doesn't apply to you and you can pass 3k at level 29

Evolved my nigga after a couple of travels to the nest zone (and 70km of buddying). It has Acid/Solar Beam which I guess it's not the most optimal but I'm happy with more variety (don't have a lot of Exeggutor counters atm) and I've read that Acid is like a 40% faster than Razor Leaf and just a bit weaker so it must be better to build some charge.

Also finally evolved a Machop to Machamp, it has karate chop and cross chop which is the ideal but I don't know if Machamp is any good atm.

DPS wise it's the best set but not in actuality, you use it against watermons so the seconds you save powering up the energy for solar beam is negated by the fact that razor leaf would be inflicting more super effective damage. Machamp with Cross Chop is good, but it's easier and more efficient to get something with a good CP curve.

IE: why use 125 Machop candy to evolve something with a medium CP curve when Vaporeon, Arcanine, Exeggutor, and Slowbro are both better and cheaper.

Maybe once later gens come out and there's more Steel type to kill, but for now there's really not much of a niche for it other than being an exotic pokemon to stash in busy gyms.

I just wonder why 3D phone games don't have basic graphic settings just like PC games.

Apparently with PoGo the game quality is lower if you have a crappy phone, it makes some kind of autoadjusting, I've seen more than once screencaps of people that look like they are playing the game without antialiasing and with lower res textures. I don't know about the textures but being able to turn off antialiasing would probably save us all some decent amount of battery.
