It's kind of weird knowing that within a fortnight, we'll definitely have the starters' first evolutions. Maybe it'll be on Tuesday, maybe it'll be in Corocoro.

And I really like Gigglio's design. It kind of has that rebellious and lively side to him that most middle stage starters have in the Pokemon series.

Owltair looks like gen 3-4 simple humanoid animals
Juarware seems like a gen 1-2 basically a animal with a gimmick
Pinnister seems gen 5-6 complex but still isn't bad

It was just a separate thread where one of our own was sad they couldn't pass their driving license test and posted sad Ballio to make a cute thread, then another post came with this RP image (I'm not sure what's that site about since I never handled it myself, but know it exists to a extent for some time now) with the image of Sun Lycanroc with the text about how it was run over and then right down, was that exact image with the text "Ballio passes his driving test with flying colors" IIRC.

The idea of a evolution for Popplio that somehow still keeps Popplio's innocence and playfulness despite all odds is kind of adorable for me and that's what I'd be hoping for. He seemed like a prideful, silly and energetic kind of pokemon in its first stage from the website and seeing Ballio/Pinnister for the first time, imagining him still have that sort of personality despite its appearance just made too much sense for me and made me warm up to his design as well.

I don't really mind Poppmaid all that much, but when I try to picture it having Popplio's personality, it just doesn't work as well? Nothing against it, I guess I'm just not feeling it as much.

All we can do is wait.
