Yeah, like 5 extra damage on the first hit. Then 3 extra damage on the second hit, then 1 extra damage there after. They both have trash attack stats, but accelgors massive speed means that it could use water shuriken before talonflame's brave bird, a prankster trick, or just about any other +1 priority move.

The only practical thing that would stop accelgor there is fake out, or maybe follow me if that diverts friendly fire away

Smeargle won't do shit for damage anyways due to its low attack, water shuri being low BP and Palossand presumably being a defensive pokemon.

Plus it'll boost on every hit so after the first hit he's +2, then +4, then +6, I'd be surprised if Smeargle did more than 5% with it. 2 hits are guaranteed and 3 is average so this strat will take Palossand to +8 boosts in one turn. The correct opening is probably a trick room with Palossand and a dark void with Smeargle though since shuriken has priority anyways.

If he has decent HP/Sdef, trick room (assuming it's slow as balls) and a recovery move I could see this meme being viable.
