>after each Gym battle, my highest leveled living Pokemon must be sacrificed to the gods

Started my own Randomizer Red Nuzlocke a few days ago, I just got out of Mt. Moon and so far I haven't been able to catch anything, and this guy can't help with that because he's too strong. His Movepool however is amazing.

Slapping a name on for the purposes of this thread. My Red++ run has struck gold with the new routes I've been able to explore! My formerly three-strong team is now a full six members thick, with an additional Pokemon on standby in the PC.

Remember that the higher your stat, the more you're losing from it with a negative Nature. 10% of base 120 is a lot more than 10% of base 75 or something. I wouldn't box it, but keep your Nature in mind if you're rolling the dice on an outspeed.

Sacred Gold Nuzlocke, just beat Falkner and hatched the Togepi Egg. Lost a Pidgey to a crit Confusion on a gym trainers Natu, and Diodude the Geodude to Falkner's Swablu.

Well, it's been a long time since I only open this rom like once a week, but it's finally nearing the end.

I just picked up this Dodrio on Route 22. My last Fearow has been a huge help in the last couple battles, but Dodrio is outclasses it despite being 10 levels lower, and I have to be as safe as possible for Red.
I'm a little bummed about not bringing Gyarados and especially Weezing (who's been with us the second-longest, almost as long as Trident), but thinking about Red's team I know they aren't going to be the most helpful.
That said, I would like to give some special shout-outs to the pokemon who helped me out on this run that aren't in the final battle

Well, that final battle went horribly. I legitimately thought that Mega Metagross was gonna sweep my entire team. Kept getting Attack boosts from Meteor Mash.

Then, suddenly, it used Giga Impact, letting my starter Penelope finish the job.

It was a fun Nuzlocke. Think I'm gonna do a Y Wonderlocke next.

Whew, that Boulder Badge was a tough one! The Rhyhorn's Flamethrower not only surprised me, but burned my dear Amy. She kept trucking though, and took on a majority of Brock's team, gaining three levels from it. Biribiri proved her survivor's spirit, hanging onto life with just 1 HP after Kabuto's Mud Shot. No losses yet. Let's hope it stays that way!

No pics, but so far my second HG nuzlocke is going pretty well. About 12 deaths atm, but I've got a pretty stable team taking place. This nuzlocke has been weird. I've been giving and receiving tons of crits, and finding really good Pokemon with beneficial natures and abilities.

And just like that, I went from having no losses to wiped. A L21 Ice Punch Smoochum with ridiculously upscaled stats, where beforehand the toughest thing I'd faced was a L18 Pidgeotto.

Perfectly fair and balanced. It KO'd my 3/4 health Houndour with one hit. Did over 1/2 my Solrock's HP per punch. Didn't get OHKO by Rock Throw. My god Fire Red Omega got really fucking stupid really fucking fast.

I usually try to keep variety for my teams, so I'm not raising Arcanines or Absols every nuzlocke. So now if I encounter a Growlithe first on a new route, I bypass it and look for something else I've never raised successfully in a nuzlocke ('successfully' meaning 'gone through the E4 and lived'). I don't have a name for the clause.

So me and a friend decided to play a Blaze Black nuzlocke together.
I've beaten Cuck Emerald and he's never played Pokemon but plays shit like Kamidori on hard so I figured it would work out
A few shit encounters here, some bad IV's there and one wipe to Burgh later I realized that Drays hacks might be a little to much to begin with.
So does anyone know any difficultly hacks preferably Gen 4 or 5 that are harder then the vanillia game,have variation but aren't as hard as Dray's hacks?

Just make sure not to update since it will break the shops in game if you do. Other than that use a safe file back up when updating to a newer version in the future so you can keep your save.

I finally finished the Cipher Lair, but man was it hard. I lost 6 Pokemon in there.

I'm about to head to Citadark Isle so I'm getting close to the end of the game. Citadark Isle will probably be really hard, but at least there's a lot of shadow Pokemon there to replace team members with if they die.

So I'm doing a nuz run on SoulSilver on an android platform. I entered an action replay code to randomize encounters. Everything was fine until I started getting into water.

Rods only catch mons in that normally occur with said rod/area.

Surfing also only spawns mons of a given area, but they are at random level. You can imagine my what when my first encounter on a water route was a lvl100 tentacool that wiped my team. I'm inclined to honor it as a death because things were going south in a hurry as things were. Regardless, I think I need to make edits to my rules to preserve random mon per area, and the ability to even advance past Olivine city.
