I hate shit like this because it completely ignores why their types were chosen in the first place.

I don't like Alolan Sandshrew and Vulpix for this reason as well.

They all look like hot garbage but that mossy Blastoise is somewhat interesting aside from the shitty color scheme.

Those illustrations are hot garbage, but turning Charmander into a water salamander is cool. Having Charmeleon and Charizard picking up axolotl-like characteristics, for example, would be cool.

A grass Blastoise is a bit too similar to Torterra. A Venusaur on fire is, well, a Venusaur on fire.
