What I don't get about breeding is...
When the egg hatches, it just somehow goes into a default PokeBall, even if you don't have any default balls in your bag. Does the ball just appear out of nowhere? Will they make it so hatching an egg takes one of your Poke Balls? (Not the master ball though)

The shiny-ness being so rare implies that it's a recessive gene. That's also why non-shiny mons can produce a shiny.
Therefore: two shiny mons = shiny children and no normal colored ones
one shiny and a normal mon = normal coloreds and shinies (but they are the minority)
two normal mons = either only normal children OR normal children and a few shiny ones
