Reposting the second post regarding Azumarill since glorious Youkai Edition feat. Komasan thread got deleted.

This Azumarill is from Primal Clash. With a Double Colorless Energy you'll be able to use Dwindling Wave turn two if you just stick to attaching energy manually. The α Recovery trait also synergizes with this attack, since it lets you heal twice as much with Potions and Pokémon Center Lady and such things.

Why did they give Vaporeon EX a similarily shitty "strong" attack but not make it benefit from Double Colorless Energy and also not give it α Recovery. α Recovery + Rough Seas would've at least made it slightly less shit. ;_;

1. 'X for Y, Y for 2X' strategy: how do I pick a viable card(s) for this? Not gonna muscle in on the meme spiders.

2. How do I tell how long a trade has been up? I know to avoid trades older than 10 minutes, but I'm not sure how to check if that's the case.

A majority of stores won't take back open products, or only give store credit at best. Especially for things like TCGs.

If your store doesn't know to stop you, try not to get too deep into it while you're taking advantage. I knew someone who went some $200 in the hole after his store finally caught on.

I've got just over 5000 tokens and I'm going to use them to buy Roaring Skies packs. If you have a lot of tickets, I don't think you need to worry too much about the token tournaments. You can't expect a Shaymin-EX, but the lottery should be fun.

That does nothing to M Gardevoir who gets even better with Dragonite-EX in Evolutions. It would normally be a 3HKO. You may be able to hit 120 on an unsuspecting player on the attack. Rainbow road is used to trading KO for KO so unless you're streaming them in a deck build to counter rainbow road I don't see it being that good.

Even still you would need a deck with Metal energy in it and the Metal deck right now already has a solid match up against both fairy decks.

I'm not that big a fan of a lot of full-art cards, but I really do like Hoopa-EX FA. No way anyone would let it go that cheaply though.

I'm new and so Raticate BREAK is the only thing I had the cards for (I say that loosely - I only have the cards to run a 3-3-2 line).

Vespiquen has given me trouble so far (I don't have Karen), but I imagine this applies to pretty much any grass deck.

I've yet to face Garbodor, but that would absolutely shut down the deck.

Greninja hasn't really been too much of a problem when I've faced it though. In theory the bench-sniping is dangerous, but it's usually even slower to get going (Stage 2->BREAK rather than Stage1->BREAK). You can hit 110 HP with Raticate BREAK and Lysandre Greninja as soon as it hits the field.

Considering the colorless version is currently free of what has been it's downfall since it's release, which is that electric weakness, and is still trash, it's becoming pretty clear that the deck simply isn't that great. With the format slowing down, the dragon version is in a much, much better spot than the previous format minus the fact that there are about 4 different fairy decks running around. Add sets to the format to mix up the meta and dragon MFug can make a splash.

But even if, hypothetically, C Ray ends up being a bad deck like you say, D Ray falls for the same exact traps as C Ray except much harder. C Ray can set up before Garbodor hits the field, D Ray relies on constant abilities to keep fueled. C Ray can swing FAT guaranteed, D Ray can't and realistically takes more than the minimum of two turns to set up a single one. C Ray can fuel itself immediately past a Scizor or Hammer, D Ray loses steam the moment a DDE gets hit.

I'm struggling to think of a matchup where D Ray would actually do better than C Ray. Can you give an example? Do you have some special list outside of the obvious Reshiram or Clawitzer pairing?

I don't think you have a reason to be very smug here senpai. You use Dragon Strike because you're using the basic dragon Ray EX in order to use Reshiram's ability. That's all fairly obvious.

What does Mewtwo or Scizor do when they get one shot by MRay? Silly question, right? Mewtwo's strategy is going to be to sit on the bench and wait for the right time to Lysandre, hoping that comes before Ray finds theirs, which to be fair Mewtwo usually does. MScizor discarding Shrine of Memories is literally irrelevant, since you won't be using it in that matchup. You don't attach DDE until you are attacking with MRay and you discard the DDE yourself when attacking. Special Charge made the deck many, many times better for this reason, and so Scizor isn't much of a sweat. The only matchups where stadium control really matters for MRay is Vespiquen variants and Rainbow Road, the former of which can be a decent matchup given what they are running while the latter is in their favor.

C Ray just gets fug'd by Parallel city too hard. Dragonite should do wonders for the deck's currently problem of running out of steam, but may hurt it's early game consistency. Dragon Ray doesn't need constant abilities, it just needs to abuse Reshirams on the 1-3 turns it gets to. C Ray already relies on Shaymin late in games to redraw and refill the bench, and it will likely count on Dragonite for the same thing. Both can have problems with abilities late in games, I don't think that's a problem unique to either MRay. Like I said earlier though, Scizor isn't that scary for dragon MRay. Attaching a DDE against MScizor when you don't plan to attack that turn is a poor play.

Booster Boxes are a bad investment ever since breaks were added which heavily diminished the value of Ultra Rare pulls giving you overall worse pulls. I'd either wait for SM set or see if you can find Roaring Skies for a cheap price.

Otherwise just buy a set of 50-100 TCGO codes directly. They're something like 20-75 cents a piece on trollandtoad and regularly go for like 10-20 dollars for a set of 50 on ebay depending on the set. Obivously Roaring Skies are going to be more.

I use the grass theme deck most of the time by choice, so grass challenges aren't too difficult for me. I usually play enough games that they complete themselves.

They also use as an excuse that a previous format had ONE set of basic cards that could OHKO EXs after fucking about with your deck. Which, due to their low health could be taken down by everything, which made non-exs practical as a way to deal with them. I got the new 20th Anniversary box or Evolutions for you burgers

The cards themselves have the old school dull yellow borders (since modern japanese cards have a grey border). The art is in the Base Set style and there are some new tabs here and there.

The HP and attacks have been bumped up a bit. Some pokemon have not changed like Chansey and others like Clefairy and Raticate have been drastically changed. There are only a few EXs, Break, and Megas. I managed to get Ninetails break, Mega Venusaur, Dragonite EX and SR. I don't know if that will apply to the english versions.

They're just flavor.
What's important, though, is that the level isn't part of the name or anything, it's just flavor text.
With Lv X Pokemon, the "Lv X" is the same flavor text, not part of the name.
Meaning pic related is just "Regigigas", not "Regigigas Lv X", so you could only have four total of normal Regigigas and the Lv X version, not four of each.
