Fix Slow Start.
Make it so it doesn't fucking reset every time the fucker goes out.

Either that, or reverse the ability.
Something like Quick Finish or something.
He's at full strength when you toss him out, but he only has 5 turns in the entire battle before he "tires out" and gets a permanent slow start effect on himself.

Truant, however, specifically on Slaking is for something unofficially dubbed the "Arcanine rule". Of all the pokemon who have a higher BST than Arcanine (555), all of them are either a Pseudo, a Legendary, or a Mega, except 2. Archeops and Slaking, both of which have a negative ability.

Slow start only lasts 3 turns and only halves speed, Now Regigigas is less shit

First, Crush Grip is a shit move, change it so it has 100 Base Power with 50% chance to Paralyze, like a Normal type Sacred Fire made to resemble Body Slam.

Second, let it learn Protect so it isn't total ass in doubles/triples (where you need Protect to mess up your opponent's prediction). Also let it learns rest since, lore-wise, it was sleeping for hundred of years before, it must be a champion sleeper.

Finally, have Slow Start not reset every time it switches out.

Slow Start now starts Regigigas with -5 to attack and speed, and +5 to defense and sp. defense. Each turn it gains 1 attack and speed and loses 1 defense and sp. defense.

Hard mode: It gets Stall instead.

Super hard mode: It gets Skill Swap.

This is my thought, reverse slow start. Just make it so after 3 turns he takes a sharp reduction to all stats. So he'd make a great choice user but horrible at everything else and protect/sub shenanigans hard counter him.

I feel like Protect or ResTalk is the way to go, but wouldn't it make Gigas the ultimate setup bait as he stalls out his Slow Start? Granted, that can be a weakness for him, but it might be too much. I think I'd give him Taunt for good measure. He still has to survive, but it's not a free sweep.

Alternatively, I'd suggest making Slow Start gradually wear off. -2 stages to ATK and SPD for turns 1-2, -1 stage for turn 3 and 4, and fully wearing off on turn 5 or at the end of turn 5

Besides retooling Slow Start (Giving 10% back each turn, keeping track of turns, using Haze-able stat stages, or just starting the battle asleep instead), the easiest way is to give it better moves. [Foo]tect, RestTalk, Heavy Slam... Why doesn't it have these again?

Give him a signature Z Move that removes the Slow Start debuff

It doesn't really work. If another pokemon skill swaps him he keeps his shit stats and never gets out of slow start.

Give it a new move.

Level Ground: All stat changes are reset, all abilities of active pokemon are negated.
