Other than that I don't use legendaries

Only when they fill an HM need that isn't currently being met (i.e. I had Rayquaza in Ruby for Fly), but otherwise no.

I used legendaries when I was like 15. After a while it felt "wrong"

Usually no, but I made an exception when I soft-reset for a shiny Lugia.

For me, it only feels wrong if they're the box legends or mythicals. I love Victini but I never use it on my team.

The only legendaries I like using in-game are the first three trios (Kanto birds, Johto beasts and Hoenn golems).
I've also used Latios in ORAS, though.

Right now I have both Registeel and Zapdos on my team and it doesn't feel "wrong".
I don't understand why some players get autistic about other people using legendaries in general, since the trios are hardly overpowered.

I used Yveltal in Y because I like how it looks. It's really cute in Amie, too.
I think it's fine as long as you keep them underleveled to balance things out.

Sadly, i do not, not even when fighting other players. I just have this mentality that they're "too powerful" for ingame, and in multi i prefer using other stuff, even if the legends are shit like Articuno or Regigigas. I don't even know why, i always was like this. Probably will still apply to SM, which is sad because i fucking LOVE Tapu Koko.

When i was younger i'd put them on my team when battling the elite four.

I tought I was the only one who felt this way. I never use legendaries since it feels off as well. Not even shit ones or semi ones like heatran. I like to roleplay as a regular poke trainer in all the games and even while battling.

Plus nothing beats the feeling of beating someone who uses genies+legendary birds with your mono or theme team with no legends.

Used Lugia back in the original Silver since I really liked the movie. Kyogre in the original and remake of Sapphire since he's my absolute favorite. I think I used Rayquaza in my first playthrough of Emerald. Gen 3 just has my favorite legendary trio so i can't help it.

Only other time was the battle against N with Reshiram/Zekrom and that shit was amazing.

I generally don't, but it's not like a strict rule for me not to use legendaries - it's just that usually I already have a team I was attached to by the time I caught them. I did use Lugia in Gen 2, for example, and then I used Reshiram at the end of BW because it felt right to pit Reshiram against Zekrom.

In Gen VI I did actually user Yveltal, but that was because it was so fucking cute. It's weird, the edgebird somehow seemed adorable to me.

I have no qualms using legendaries but I moderate myself depending on where I go. I'm talking box legendaries though. For example in VGC, I liked finally using my Kyogre in a format. Things like Zapdos, Cresselia, Landorus, etc I have no problem using or facing when I build single battle teams.

As a rule of thumb I never use a pokemon that's banned in the region's battle facility. That way I can still use my favorite legends but it doesn't feel out of place.
But banning Phione always seemed strange to me.

I use the Legendaries to fight other Legendaries.
So I'll use Dialga to capture Giratina.
Or Darkrai to capture Cresselia.
Or Yveltal to capture Zygarde.
