There are a lot of really shitty pokemon in this gen, a couple pokemon I'm indifferent towards (mostly because they're first evolutions and, naturally, they're boring), with only a few I really like.

Oranguru looks great. I was surprised that they managed to make "rugby monkey" look good, too, but I definitely prefer Oranguru. Cutiefly's evo looks pretty cute, too, though at the same time it just seems like "Cutiefly but with a body and a scarf, because it's cute, and scarves are cute". Hopefully there's a third evo?

So, I guess my answer is Oranguru, for now.

It's literally the "edgiest" design for a pokemon I've ever seen.

Not that anon and also not a furry. I like midnight lycanroc due to its cartoon like attitude, it's description sounds like it's really proud of its skills and I like those kind of things. I dont really care for all that edgy bullshit hate on pokemon or the furbait slander so that doesn't cloud my judgement on a pokemon design. I do think it could be way better than what we got though.

That's also true, but at the end of its description it says it trusts a trainer who can bring out its full power. Showing that it like to fight and is proud of what he can do. It also won't obey to things it doesn't want to do. It has to be worth his time.

When we first got the Corocoro leaks, I wasn't convinced about this guy, but the animations saved him, he's actually pretty great in-game.

salandit and wimpod are the two that worry me most. i don't trust game freak to not change their types to something like poison/dragon and bug/poison. poison/fire and bug/water are perfect.
