So what's the deal with this shit? What are the requirements to use a Z-Move going to be?
Will it be if the pokemon is holding a certain item?
Will it be able to be used ONLY after its other 4 moves have been used already?
Will it just be one of the 4 move slots and just act like a normal move?
They seem too strong to not have some cost associated with them

We already know that it requires the trainer and Pokémon holding the same type of Z-crystal, and we saw in the Gamescom Battle Royal gameplay that you can use a Z-move turn one.

Also, it's a once-per-battle 5th move. You tap the Z-Move icon on the left side of the screen, and then it greys out 3 of the moves and replaces the fourth with the Z-Move

>only usable once
>Need to hold the Z cristal
>need to know any move with the same type than the Zmove
Just a waste of the item slot

As much of a waste as once use items. Which are used all the time in the meta. And aren't considered a waste at all.

The difference being those are useful.
They may also need to know a specific move.
