We've seen a lot of doubles battles in trailers, more than in other generations. Maybe it's because they're releasing more trailers in general for the game, but also maybe doubles are going to be more frequent?

I will use Oranguru on my in-game team for sure. Haven't felt this strongly about an SM Pokemon since Robingroot and Vikavolt.

They're everything correct with good Pokemon design.

They're clearly based on an animal that can be easily distinguished but have a fantastical elemental to them. They're arguably the best Ape Pokemon designs with the only one coming close being Infernape

I like Passimian's design but the typing is shit.

Both have plant life incorporated into their design, I really wish they could have been Grass or Ground types instead of Normal.

Also Oranguru's signature move is just flat-out better than Passimian's ability, which is way more situational. I guess this is the exchange we make for getting the blatantly superior pupper.

Rugby Lemur is honestly cool, the rugby monkey idea was stupid, but seeing this sleek lemur throwing fruit... Is Just awesome.

And then there is Oranguru, DUDE! This design is glorious, probably my second favorite of this generation after Lurantis, this thing looks like an actual orangutan, uses tools like they do, and it's a psychic normal type redeeming girafarig mediocrity with a cool doubles gimmick!

I'm honestly loving both monkeys, but Oranguru is my favorite!
